In August 2021, for the first time in history, rain fell on the Arctic ice cap, drawing global attention to Greenland. The island’s ice melt rate has increased sevenfold, leaving no doubt about the realities of climate change.
In 2022, Steven Ko, O’right Founder and CEO, spearheaded environmental education initiatives as team leader of the "Melting Greenland" project. Undertaking firsthand expeditions to the Arctic, the project was to document climate change's profound impacts on humanity and the environment.
The resulting documentary, showcased at the United Nations General Assembly's Climate Week (UNGA77), COP27 - COP28 and The Economist's Economic Impact Sustainability Forum, has received resounding acclaim.
