Event Introduction

This concert is inspired by the world-renowned life picture book "The Giving Tree". Through the format of a Picture Book Choir Theater, it delicately portrays the journey of growth, giving, and being loved. We invite the audience to reconnect with the flow of love and the resilience of life amidst the songs and visual storytelling.

The performance specifically features the Beautiful Voices Choir and students from the National Defense University's Department of Applied Arts - Theater Section. Teachers, students, and cross-school partners have collaborated to weave together music, drama, and physical expression into a warm and sincere performance.

The concert will take place at the "Hope Square" of the National Taiwan University Cancer Center. This venue symbolizes giving back to society through art and transmitting love through song. Every note carries care and blessings, dedicated to every listener and patient bravely moving forward on their life journey.

The repertoire includes a blend of Chinese, English, Taiwanese, and Sign Language, combined with digital imagery, stage visuals, and sound design, showcasing a cross-cultural and interdisciplinary artistic style.

May this performance continue to grow like The Giving Tree, blooming with hope and warmth in every corner of the hospital. Let the music be a soft embrace, comforting hearts, connecting one another, and starting a heartwarming journey about life, courage, and gratitude through love and understanding.
