"Establishing a communication platform between students and teachers to invigorate the general education at Taiwan Tech.

Through the 'General Education Worth a Fortune' series of events, we aim to provide a platform for mutual exchange between teachers and students, building bridges between students and lecturers, thereby enlivening the atmosphere of general education on campus. Our goal is to showcase the highlights and distinctive features of Taiwan Tech's general education courses to a wider audience. We hope that under the influence of these general education courses, students can enrich themselves both personally and spiritually, not only becoming proficient in their endeavors but also fostering sincerity in their interactions with others."

"Vote for your teachers and let their teaching philosophies be seen."

Through various approaches, general education courses allow students to explore different professional fields. But why do teachers design their courses this way? What considerations lie behind the course designs? Through interviews, full-time and adjunct faculty can articulate their teaching philosophies in a conversational manner, as well as share their thought processes and considerations, allowing students to engage in empathetic thinking.

Now, you can explore the teaching philosophies of your instructors and cast your sacred vote!

"Write your reflections to introduce fellow students to general education courses.

Undergraduate students are required to complete 15 credits of general education courses to graduate, with over a hundred courses available each semester. How do you choose? What exactly will you learn from these courses? These are the primary questions on students' minds. Information obtained from platforms like Dcard and Facebook may not always be accurate or reliable. Recognizing this, the General Education Center hopes to encourage students to share their experiences and insights through a writing competition, allowing others to gain insights into what they can expect from these courses and serve as a reference for future course selections.

Can't find reflections on the courses you're interested in? Gather your classmates and write your own!
