In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, an intergovernmental agreement that is meant to guide global development efforts over the next 15 years. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) formulated in this agenda are intended to guide the international community's actions to build a more equitable and peaceful world, leaving no country behind.
Taiwan Tech, like many universities worldwide, has made efforts to implement sustainability into its curricula, with the Centre of General Education taking a pivotal role in these endeavours.
