[18 Nov 2024] A Guide to the Impact of Place and Art

Art is not limited to traditional artworks by artists—it can be a medium to bring art closer to the public. Using Keelung Zhengbin Fishing Harbor as a starting point, this talk aims to explore art as a collaborative social experiment, bringing people together through collective effort.

In this lecture, we will introduce the core of 'collaborative art creation' led by the Xingbin Co-Creation Studio in Keelung and how it has driven local revitalization efforts, including regional curation, space activation, artist residencies, cultural education, product design, and experiential events. By redefining the relationship between 'place and art,' we will chart new directions and bring out our inherent strengths.

[12 Nov 2024] Creation is a Dialogue between the Mind and Emotions

p

Life’s struggles, pressures, joys, and chance encounters all shape and tune a person’s creativity. At the start of 2024, I held an exhibition titled *'My Own Form,'* sharing my concept of self-esteem—using oneself as a center to explore the boundaries of freedom. Creation is my way of organizing my inner self. In this lecture, I’ll share how I approach creating freely and intuitively, and how I explore my sense of self through travel, reading, emotions, and physical awareness, finding joy in the process.
