Arts and Culture Tour [22 April 2025]: Exhibition at JUT Museum - INTRO for the CHAOS
As part of this semester’s artist-in-residence program, which explores interdisciplinary learning in technology and art, we invite faculty, staff, and students to visit the Jut Art Museum and experience the works of Taiwanese new media artist Chung-Han YAO
The exhibition "Intro for the Chaos" is a collaborative project between Chung-Han YAO and freelance theater producer Neo WU. These two boundary-defying creators have engaged in a long-term, intimate dialogue—examining profound questions, challenging assumptions, and deconstructing and reshaping their creative processes.
Featuring four brand-new site-specific works, the exhibition expands on Yao’s signature audiovisual installation series. In addition to their own work, Yao and Wu have invited visual and performing artists to contribute, collectively transforming the Jut Art Museum into an immersive, chaotic world filled with installations, sound, imagery, and dynamic light and shadow. Visitors are encouraged to uncover the hidden creative process behind these works.
