[Lecture] Using Design to Create Meaningful Social Communication_May 18, 2026 (Mon)

Lecture Overview
Taipower has transformed from a traditional electricity supplier into a public service brand that embodies cultural, creative, and sustainable values. Through public art, cultural heritage preservation, and curatorial events, it has reshaped its corporate image and deepened social bonds. Cases such as "Lighting Up the Thirteen Floors" and the "Power Earth Special Exhibition" illustrate the results of cross-sector collaboration and local co-creation. Design thinking has been integrated into services and products — from electricity bill aesthetics and creative merchandise to design competitions — enhancing public engagement and identity. Green energy exhibition halls and educational outreach have established a platform for energy aesthetics and science communication. The ultimate goal is to embed design at the core of the power industry, promote sustainable development, strengthen internal cohesion and external communication, and build an influential modern public enterprise.
