Lecture Overview

All products created by Taipower Cultural & Creative are developed in collaboration with renowned Taiwanese design brands. Beyond sourcing materials with compelling stories, Taipower Cultural & Creative also seeks out designers with distinctive perspectives on product design. These special materials open up greater imaginative possibilities, allowing design to flourish to its fullest potential. This lecture invites TSENG,WEI-CHIEH, Creative Director of Jieyu Creative and a collaborating designer for Taipower Cultural & Creative, to share his experience participating in the meter glass remanufacturing process — from dismantling retired meter materials and glass testing to remanufacturing methods, design, and final production. Through his collaboration with Taipower, he reflects on the company's transformation.

TSENG,WEI-CHIEH / Creative Director, Jieyu Creative

Co-founder of Jieyu Creative, specializing in product appearance development, material integration, and sustainable design research. Oversees the overall design direction and quality coordination for this project.

• Led the team to participate in over 10 international trade exhibitions abroad

• Completed product design and manufacturing projects valued at over NT$10 million

• Long-term collaboration with domestic and international manufacturers, with a proven development rhythm and high mass-production success rate

• Works have received multiple international design awards, accumulating market-validated commercialization experience
