[講座] Where Does Journalism and Freedom of the Press Stand in Today's World?；講者:Shataakshi Verma(113.10.01)
In today's landscape, press freedom and journalists face unprecedented challenges. Shataakshi Verma, Project and Development Manager at Reporters Without Borders (RSF), Asia Pacific Bureau in Taipei, will guide us in exploring the current state of global press freedom and its significance.
Founded in 1985 in France, Reporters Without Borders (Reporters Sans Frontières = RSF) is at the forefront of the defence and promotion of freedom of information. In 2017, RSF opned its first Asia Office in Taipei. Shataakshi Verma will introduce RSF's achievements and challenges in advancing press freedom, and will discuss how various sectors of the society can work together to safeguard this fundamental right.
