課程宗旨

本課程旨在幫助學生由淺入深、循序漸進瞭解英語發音之本質與現象、以及其練習與應用。課程分為四個階段：音標單字字組句子；亦即從學習分辨易混淆的母音與子音開始，接著學習單字發音（並輔以自然發音法學習）、到將單字連在一起發音（字組），最後能夠見字發音、並說出完整且道地的句子。

課程大綱

1. 學習英語音標中的「母音」及「子音」，矯正錯誤的發音方式 2. 學習英語發音與聽力的三大技巧：「連音」、「削弱音」、「彈舌音」，說出道地的英語，並聽懂母語人士的英語 3. 學習英語發音中的「語調」概念，瞭解英語單字及句子重音，說出輕重交織、抑揚頓挫的英語 4. 學習英語發音兩大系統「音標」與「自然發音法」，兩者相輔相成，讓學習成果更顯著 In this course, students will: 1. Learn to correctly and precisely pronounce English vowels and consonants. 2. Master the following English listening and speaking techniques: Linking, Reduction, and Flap. 3. Learn intonation (e.g., stress in words, stress in sentences, etc.) of the English language. 4. Acquire knowledge and skills of integrating both phonetic symbols and phonics rules in pronouncing English words, phrases, and sentences.
