FLG002 口語表達與讀者劇場

 

課程宗旨

Objectives of the course: ‧ To gain intensive, hands-on, guided practice in oral English, particularly in pronunciation, enunciation, intonation, and rhythm—and in the process, develop a more profound connection with the language. ‧ To develop and apply English speaking and presentation skills in a creative environment that brings the student closer to English literary texts. ‧ To gain confidence in speaking, through guided voice exercises, and by presenting and performing in front of an audience. ‧ To introduce students to skills and techniques of theatrical performance, as well as the personal enrichment that they can derive through involvement in performance, especially cooperative ensemble performance. ‧ To explore the physical, emotional, and creative possibilities that come with developing one’s voice through guided voice exercises and activities.


課程大綱

在本課程中,學生將練習朗誦和“表演”英語文本,包括小說,詩歌和歌曲歌詞以及非小說和其他書面作品。 “讀者劇場”是一種獨特的表演形式,表演者透過創造性的“閱讀”和朗誦向觀眾展示書面作品或一組作品。我們也可以稱其為創造性的故事講述。表演以團體為導向,在聲音和動作的互動與協調中要謹慎安排時間。儘管不是舞台戲劇,但仍需展現表演技巧,另外包括簡單的道具,音效,運用音樂、影片。 在課程中學生會接受老師親身指導導和下列經驗分享:1)調整教導學生的英語發音,口音和語調以及聲音; 2)讓學生透過參與腳本編寫和改編作品增強學生在閱讀,思考和分析方面的能力; 3)並透過口頭表達及表演培養自我信心和舞台感。 學生們也將在此讀者劇場課程中發現“一種專門閱讀文學作品的方法”:使用批判性的閱讀方式來欣賞和分析英語文學作品,並多樣性深入了解作品的敘述,特徵,背景,意象,風格,語言等。
