South Side College Holds First STREAM Immersive Summer School, 1 - 7 July 2024 

The Taiwan Tech South Side College launched its first immersive summer school for high-school students from all over Taiwan on the Taiwan Tech campus in the first week of July 2024.
Led by Taiwan Tech Centre for General Education (CGE) faculty and enthusiastic student teaching assistants, participants will explore social issues, apply modern technology, and engage in activities to develop solutions for the “Chengnan” (i.e. South Side) area around the Taiwan Tech campus.
The program aims to cultivate innovative thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills. The cross-disciplinary curriculum is based on the CGE concept of STREAM education which combines STEM education with a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math with Reading (critical literacies) and Art.
