課程大綱
起因於藝術家們對傳統環境的不滿，從二十世紀下半起，藝術的樣貌產生激烈的變化，逃出美術館的高牆，藝術的大敘事宣告結束，走入眾聲喧嘩。而二十一世紀的當代藝術展現出對人類社會各種議題的高度興趣，同時不斷顛覆、推翻、挑戰各種藝術的想像，更擅長從其他領域獲取策略與技術，形成大量跨領域創作的實驗，特別是數位科技、資訊處理、社群媒體等強力發展推波下，藝術跨域混血已是自然而然。 本課程旨在銜接具有敏銳度的科技理工人才與藝術跨域創作領域，鍛鍊右腦之感性發展，從認識藝術跨域創作的概念開始，進入由藝術家設計帶領的初階跨域藝術創作課程體驗，最終期能拓展學生的專業領域連結當代藝術，建構跨域創造之能力。選修者預計能獲得（一）有關藝術跨域的相關基礎知識；（二）嘗試操作科技藝術應用軟體之創作經驗；（三）建構對藝術跨域的興趣與認知。
The change in the appearance of art has undergone a dramatic transformation since the latter half of the 20th century, arising from artists' dissatisfaction with the traditional environment. Art broke free from the confines of the museum's high walls, signaling the end of grand artistic narratives and entering a world of clamor. Contemporary art in the 21st century has shown a high interest in various issues within human society, constantly subverting, overthrowing, and challenging various artistic imaginations. It excels in absorbing strategies and techniques from other fields, leading to a large number of interdisciplinary experimental creations. This is particularly evident with the rapid development of digital technology, information processing, and social media, making the integration of art across disciplines a natural progression. This course aims to connect technology professionals with a keen sense of cross-disciplinary art creation, fostering the sensory development of the right brain. Starting from an understanding of the concept of cross-disciplinary art creation, the course will lead students to experience introductory cross-disciplinary art creations designed and guided by artists. Ultimately, the goal is to expand students' professional connections with contemporary art and develop their cross-disciplinary creative abilities.
