課程宗旨

本課程的設計旨在啟發學生探索現今政治與社會發展的歷史淵源，以思考自身與過去的聯繫，重新尋繹個人、社會與國家在歷史時空坐標中的定位。透過觀賞五部不同主題的紀錄片、多元歷史文本閱讀以及摘要寫作，培養： (1)透過歷史影像與文本，增進重敘事、關懷與意義的高感性與高體會能力。 (2)透過史學方法的實作，訓練邏輯思考能力。 (3)透過摘要寫作，加強論述及書寫能力。

課程大綱

在課程安排上，每週上課時：(1)以15分鐘介紹一本書，以期培養學生的人文素養及提高學生的閱讀興趣；(2)說明該週主題，期能增進學生的同理心；(3)進行10分鐘的「你怎麼想」單元，希望能幫助學生提昇判斷力。此外，學期作業採寫摘要方式，希望學生能加強書寫表達的能力。課程共分為十個主題： (一)面對AI的挑戰，你更需要學歷史！ (二)如何「製作國父」？ (三)哪條路才能超英趕美─到西方去？還是以俄為師！ (四)從帝國到現代國家建構的歷程 (五)戰爭的代價─慘勝與慘敗 (六)「大江大海1949」與「建國大業」 (七)蔣經國與台灣 (八)戒嚴與解嚴 (九)影像台灣 (十)結語：六十年來海峽兩岸的發展//This course aims to spark the student’s interest in exploring the historical origins of contemporary politics and social developments. Students are encouraged to see connections between their own identity and the past, and to locate their roles as individuals, members of society, and national subjects. The content of the course also covers important events and historical figures of modern Chinese history, with analysis of the continuity and changes in Chinese politics and society. This course is designed to enhance students’ understanding of modern Chinese history by viewing five different themes of documentaries, reading historical texts, and abstract writing.
