課程簡介
The course guides students to observe, experience, record and evaluate the music and sounds around them through various questions. Through some exercises, it aims to lead them towards a 'mindful' life with music and sounds. With a significant amount of activities, discussions and sharing, the course then delves into critical thinking and knowledge impartation and ultimately, the students develop their own perspectives and tastes in music.

Week 1-2

What is the relationship between you and music? What do you listen to in your daily life? when? where?
Week 3-4
你認為,音樂從哪裡來?它是如何開始的?
Where do you think music comes from? How has it begun?
Week 5-6
我們是否需要了解音樂的歷史或發展,以便知道我們現在的音樂環境(因為我們是歷史的一部分)?你有什麼看法?
Do we need to know something about the history or development of music in order to know where we stand (since we are part of the history)? What do you think?

Week 9-10
「聽覺記譜:聲音的描述」練習:今天,在你上學的路上,請仔細聆聽周圍的聲音和音樂,然後可以寫下、描述或畫出它們。接下來,根據你的喜好給它「評分」,並與班級分享(你也可以錄下聲音/音樂)。
Exercise: Today, on the way to school, please listen to the sounds and music which surround you, and write/describe about it. Then, you have to “grade” it according to your preferences, and share them to the class. (You can actually record the sounds/music if you’d like.)
Week 11-12
練習:請參加一場音樂活動或任何包含音樂的展覽(電影、畫廊等),寫下/描述您的感受,對其進行評分,然後與班級分享。
Exercise: Please go to a music event or any kind of exhibit that includes music (movie, gallery, etc.), write/describe about it, grade it and come share with the class.
